Cornell University is a large R01, Ivy League, public land grant institution, and is therefore subject to a wide spectrum of federal, state, and local regulatory obligations. The University Compliance matrix provides a dynamic list of the most significant areas of compliance across the institution. Within the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment, OECD supports compliance efforts for the Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment, Undergraduate Admissions Office, Enrollment Systems, and Enrollment Communications.

Outside of the division, OECD closely collaborates with University Compliance, Office of the Bursar, Human Resources, Cornell Information Technologies, the Graduate School, Cornell Athletics and colleagues across each school and college.
