Mission Statement

Our Mission is to establish frameworks for compliance management fostering an environment of the highest standards of integrity and accountability, where students can pursue their academic goals with confidence, knowing enrollment processes are fair, equitable, and in full compliance with Cornell University’s legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities. 

This mission is realized through the following office objectives:

  • Regulatory Adherence: We are dedicated to the oversight of the implementation of all applicable federal, state, and institutional policies, guidelines, and laws.
  • Collaborative Engagement: We leverage the collective genius across university departments, faculty, staff, and students to foster a culture of cooperation, where shared responsibilities contribute to the overall success of the institution.
  • Continuous Improvement: We are committed to continuous assessment and improvement of enrollment practices, seeking innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce barriers, meet regulatory and policy obligations, and promote student success.
  • Education and Outreach: We provide resources, training, and outreach programs to ensure that all members of the university community are informed and educated about enrollment compliance matters.
